Alright its official! I will be part of the makeup team for a feature film called ” The Darkness”! It’s a horror/supernatural movie set to come out this year. A quick synopsis on the movie… A teenage girl moves into a new home with her schoolmates as strange things begin happening when a supernatural doorway is opened allowing a demon to inhabit her body and enter our world bringing on the apocalypse. OoOoO creepy! I’m very excited to be apart of this project. It’s being produced by Matchbox Pictures (Check them out!! http://www.matchboxpictures.ca) More updates will follow throughout my adventure!
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and so is a mother’s day fashion spread showcasing my hair and makeup that can be found in the London Free Press and all Sun Media Productions! Hair and makeup is being kept light and simple for spring. Just a fresh face with nice coral tones on the eyes and a little gloss and you are good to go! You can find this fashion spread on May 2nd and in the London Free Press on May 4th ( if memory serves me correctly!).

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of doing hair, makeup AND photography for a wonderful photographer and friend Lisa Preece or as some might know her, Lisabella. I loved giving Lisa her makeover. It was amazing to see the transformation a little makeup can do. I saw my friend turn into this total vixen with in an hour, she was totally struttin’ her stuff! We went for a Marilyn Monroe feel in our photos since it’s been a dream of hers to do a shoot inspired by her. I set up in Lisa’s room completely surrounded by posters of Marilyn. Never a bad thing! It was an amazing experience and helped me to understand makeup even more by seeing it through the lens. For a first timer I think the pictures turned out really well.
